He recently transitioned to a charter school for Kindergarten. His teacher personally called me to share how impressed she was with his scholastic abilities and behavioral attributes and labeled his as a “high flying scholar”. She is working with the 1st grade teacher to share in their current curriculum to ensure Dylan remains challenged. I know for certain Dylan’s academic successes are a result of his enrollment at Evangel for 3+ years. The teachers have done an amazing job planting the seeds of academic excellence. “For the past 6 years and counting, Evangel Daycare has supported my 2 daughters as they grew from babies to students and has been a beacon of light in their lives. From 3 months old they both have been in the care of the staff up until our oldest graduated K-5 this year. My family and I are eternally grateful for the caring, supporting, structured yet fun setting they provided the girls.

What’s so special about Evangel one might ask? well, my daughters always came home with big smiles on their faces and spoke about their teachers with admiration and respect and delighted in the friendships they made. They benefited tremendously from the care and attention they received from the staff, the intimate classroom settings and the Abeka curriculum being taught; all of which has equipped them with not just social skills but prepared them for their young academic futures.

Tears still form in my eyes and joy fills my heart when I hear my older daughter read and I remember the days when she would correct me on the phonetic sounds of letters and my 2-year-old at the time pointing to shapes that she did not know the names of. The team at Evangel hold true to supporting their toddlers with fine and gross motor skills, potty training, social skills, and early education and are steadfast in their devotion to their craft of teaching; they really get to know the little ones’ likes and dislikes and personalities and work with them to foster the best learning experience.

Knowing the girls are safe, happy and learning up until the time we pick them up for the day is a blessing and to hear the girls express how much they can’t wait to go to school the next day to see their teacher and friends is priceless. Ms. Sandy, we thank you and the staff of Evangel for all you have done and continue to do for those in your care especially during this time of the Covid-19 pandemic. Words cannot express our gratitude for all your hard work and dedication which has made a great impact in not just the lives of our girls but my husband’s and mine as well.
