Rev. Diana McConaty
Reverend Diana McConaty, more affectionately known as Pastor D, was born and raised in Clinton, Maryland. She was married in 1981 to Michael McConaty (now widowed) and gave birth to one daughter, Crystal McConaty in 1985. Diana grew up in Clinton, Maryland and currently lives in Brandywine, Maryland.
Diana began a career in banking in 1978 and has extensive experience in the banking industry. During her more than 17 years of experience, she held positions of Assistant Vice President of Loan Operations, Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending and Loan Operations Officer in Commercial Real Estate Lending Division. After leaving the banking industry, Diana gained vast experience in the consulting field during her employment with Porter Consulting Worldwide. She held positions of Project Coordinator, Strategic Resources Manager, and finally as Vice President of Finance and Management Advisory Skills.
Diana received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in February 1988 at Evangel Assembly. Since that time, she served in Children’s Ministries as a Sunday School helper, teacher and coordinator, and superintendent. She also served as coordinator for Vacation Bible Schools, Kids for Christ Programs, and many other children’s outreach programs. She was also the founder and executive director of Hillbilly Haven, Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission was to lead children to Jesus Christ. Through this ministry, more than 2,000 children were led to the Lord Jesus Christ. In November 2005, Diana became the full-time Children’s Pastor at Evangel Assembly.
As her gift of administration and leadership abilities became more and more prevalent, she excelled in the field of operations. Diana has served in the capacity of Associate Pastor, at Evangel and presently serves as Executive Pastor at Evangel Assembly. She currently serves on the Board of Governors of the IFM.
Pastor Diana was ordained by the International Fellowship of Ministers on January 17, 2010. She has an Associate’s Degree in Theology and is currently working on a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership.
