Evangel Life Empowerment Classes
Children’s Sunday School
Our mission at Evangel Children’s Sunday School is to make Sunday School the most important school day of the week. Beginning as early as preschool, Evangel Children’s Sunday School builds nurturing relationships with the children to provide an environment for little ones to play with purpose. Our coaches use age-appropriate Bible stories and verses for the children to discover how to obey God’s word, trust in Jesus and go into the entire world and preach the blessed gospel. As a child grows with the Evangel Children’s Sunday School program, coaches develop meaningful mentoring relationships with the children to continue preparing them for kingdom reign.
Lead Empowerment Coach
The Evangel Children’s Sunday School Lead Empowerment Coach is hand-picked with God’s direction and handles the responsibilities of a traditional Sunday School Superintendant. The Children’s Sunday School Lead Empowerment Coach strives to encourage team members to do what they do know, learn what they don’t know and study others who are really good at doing what they know.
The Evangel Children’s Sunday School Empowerment Coaches are the adult teachers. With prayer and direction from the Holy Spirit, our Empowerment Coaches are involved in the spiritual growth of the children through selective curriculum, engaging activities, meaningful discussions and practical life applications. The greatest privilege of our Coaching team is to help children become members of God’s family.
Junior Empowerment Coach
The Evangel Children’s Sunday School Junior Empowerment Coaches, age 13 and up, are class helpers. Through their willingness to serve, they demonstrate their love of Jesus by assisting the Adult Empowerment Coaches in the Sunday School classroom. The opportunity to minister to young children gives our young teens a chance to practice living God’s word and affirming it in their hearts.
The Evangel Children’s Sunday School Class Assistant gives parent/guardian volunteers an opportunity to observe the class, assist with the lesson and/or share their testimony with the children. It is fun for the children to experience God’s love in the words, actions and attitudes of a significant adult in their lives. Our Class Assistants not only bless the children; but also, are often blessed by the children and their thirst for God’s living word.
