Admission Policy
Evangel Academy admits students of all races, colors, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the school. The Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, nor admission policies.
Students are admitted to Evangel Academy on the basis of former school records, entrance exams, and personal interviews. Admission requirements are intended to attract students who are eager to learn, thereby creating an excellent environment for academic learning and building Christian character.
Each student is placed in the grade which best meets his individual needs as determined by placement tests and faculty recommendations. The progress of new students will be monitored closely to ensure that they are easily adjusting to their new environment.
Admission Procedures
The admission procedure will not be finalized until all of the following steps are completed. Your application will not be processed until these steps are completed.
Please bring items 1-4 with you to registration. Please be prepared to complete items 5-8 as applicable.
- A completed Student/Family Application Form
- A copy of the student's birth certificate
- A copy of the student's most recent report card
- A completed medical form
- A signed copy of the Parent's Pledge
- Registration fee paid (Non-refundable)
- Personal Information Privacy Policy (PIPP) form
- Direct Payment Deposit form
Applications for September enrollment are being accepted on a rolling basis.
Call the school office at 301-899-5940 for your appointment time.
Parents will be informed at a later time as to whether or not the applicant has been accepted.
