In Mark 16, Jesus commanded the disciples to, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel…”

At Evangel, we take that literally. We take the message to the nations, including our own. Some of our outreach activities within the United States include:

1. In the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, we deployed a team to New Orleans to help with the recovery effort.
2. We have labored in West Virginia to help those in need to prepare for the upcoming winter.
3. Partnering with the Youth Ministry, we have sent teams to New Mexico to minister to the Native Americans. Our youth are using their energies to share the love of God. Through their ministry, they have been able to touch the hearts of young people who are hurting. In return, they have made new friends.
4. We traveled to the Dream Center in California, working side-by-side with staff to serve those in the Los Angeles area by providing prayer, food, and transportation.
5. Our hearts were blessed by the warm reception we received in Alabama . Pastor Diana McConaty, Children's Pastor, coordinated a Vacation Bible School event that drew more than 70 children. Others worked to renovate homes that had fallen into disrepair and establish a food pantry to meet the needs of an ailing community.
6. Throughout the year, we provide clothes and other items to churches and ministries throughout the US.

We are always seeking new opportunities to serve.
