Welcome to the Evangel Children’s Ministry where we pursue our “Passion for Excellence.” It is our desire to meet the needs of the children of Evangel Assembly:

• In their Spirits, spiritually feeding them the Word of God, teaching Christian foundations and principles, and showing them how to reach others for Jesus Christ.
• In their Souls, we are reaching them as they soar to new heights in Jesus Christ while having fun as they learn about Him.
• In their Bodies, we reach them by allowing them to run, jump, shout, and play, understanding that God is a fun God.

It is OKAY for children to be themselves and learn about God at the same time. The Children’s Ministry and programs are overseen by our full-time Children’s Pastor, Diana McConaty, and are under the leadership of our Senior Pastor, Rev. St. Clair Mitchell, and the Board of Elders.

In our KidZone program during our 8:00 a.m. Sunday Service, children learn through a high energy, high impact, high spiritual value session. 

 It is a two-fold discipleship philosophy that begins with the premise that godly character grows out of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. “HighPoint” helps children apply the Bible to their lives in tangible ways.

Kid-Z-Night Out, where kids can be kids, is held one Friday night per month and provides our children an opportunity to run, jump, play, watch movies, fellowship, and eat real kid food as they learn that God is a fun God.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is full of fun, music, games, crafts, snacks, and other kid-friendly activities, “but Studio GO!” is not just about fun and games - it’s about helping kids GO! with God by leading, risking, telling, obeying, and SERVING!  

Every day kids will be challenged to participate in projects at Service Showcase that will serve people in their families, neighborhood, and communities. Studio GO! opens daily from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., June 22–26, 2009, and is free of charge for children ages 3–12.

CAMP E.D.G.E.: EXPERIENCE + DISCOVER GOD EVERYWHERE is a powerful curriculum that brings your children closer to God when they discover that God is with them at all times, in all places, and in all circumstances, ready to help them and guide them. With this curriculum, we offer your children a creative Bible-based program that puts the extreme in their faith journey!

All activities will be open to children ages 6–12. CAMP E.D.G.E. will run weekdays from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., July 6-31, 2009. The cost will be $120 per week and will include two snacks and lunch daily. Before and after care is available.
