From Genesis to Revelations, God repeatedly shows His ability to share His love and accomplish His work through people who grab hold of a mission. At Evangel, we "go" and "preach" throughout world. We have embraced this as our Mission, and we seek to be used by God to bring people all over the world into right relationship with Him.

We put belief in action by educating the congregation on global issues and sending teams on short-term mission trips. In addition to our activities in North America, Evangelites have traveled to South America, Asia, and Africa to reach out to those in need and proclaim the love of Christ. From Mexico to Dominica, Zambia to the Philippines, Uganda to Indonesia, and Nicaragua to Haiti, we have fed the hungry, provided clothes to the needy, and literally brought light to those in darkness. In all things, our aim is to:

Exemplify the Love of Christ
In the words of St. Francis of Assisi, "Preach the gospel always. If necessary, use words." We travel across geographical and cultural boundaries to proclaim one thing through our actions – God is love and He loves you. No matter the task, we do everything as unto the Lord. Whether offering food, shelter, a warm hug, or shoulder to cry on, we want to have an impact on the people we meet. We want them to remember that God loves them and cares for them.

Share God's Word
We have hosted children's ministry events, women's ministry events, and several discipleship conferences, providing seminars for pastors, music ministers, and other church leaders. We have visited prisons and orphanages. Regardless of age or socioeconomic status, we find a way to minister to everyone we meet.

Partner with Missionaries on the Field
We offer support to missionaries who have been called to the field. At Evangel, we go beyond offering financial blessings. We go where they are and pitch in and help wherever needed. Our favorite ministry event is the Annual Missions Banquet. Each year, we look forward to this time of fun and fellowship.
